Everything Bagels

Bagels are one of my go-to's when it comes to breakfast! They are so versatile whether for breakfast, a snack or something sweet. Some of my favorite ways to enjoy include - a bacon, egg, cheese and avocado breakfast sandwich, plain or cinnamon bagels with peanut butter, bananas and honey or as a lox open faced sandwich with some arugula and lemon! At first bagels seem intimidating but they are made with very basic ingredients, just a few different cooking methods but well worth it!

A few notes before we get to the recipe!**

-It is imperative that you boil these bagels in batches. The dough needs a lot of room to boil and the water needs to remain boiling. Crowding the bagels could lead to not cooking the outside of the bagel correctly.

-You'll need to work the dough for at least 7-10 minutes.

-Allow your yeast to rise the for the full 10 minutes.

-I suggest you proof your dough in an off oven with the light on.
