Making hot chocolate from scratch is 100x's tastier and just as simple as heating up a store bought hot cocoa package. For this recipe I used a nice bittersweet chocolate as the candy canes and brown sugar add just enough sweetness. I like to top it with whipped cream and peppermint pieces with some fun holiday sprinkles! Perfect for after a day of sledding or ice skating!
